Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition will be staged for the 9th time at SECC – Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center from October 22 - 25, 2009 The show is divided into four sectors. Plastics & Rubber, Pack & Print, Foodtech, and Print & Label. State of the art technologies and machineries will be showcased for the International, and Vietnam industries audiences. The show will provide outstanding business opportunities for companies to further expand into the global markets.

The show benefits under the joint cooperation of Ministry of Industry & Trade – Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), Chan Chao International Co., Ltd, Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd, Paper Communication Exhibition Service, Taiwan Exhibition & Convention Association, and Shenzhen Mass Exhibition Co., Ltd.

The show will host more than 200 international and domestic companies comprised from 20 countries including, China, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam. The show is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors worldwide. The categories of exhibits include Plastics Machinery, Plastics Accessories, Plastics Auxiliary Equipments, parts and components, starting materials and intermediates... etc. Six international pavilions from, CFTC, China Foreign Trade Center, (China), Korea Packaging Machinery Association (Korea), Organization of Plastics Processor of India (India), AIPMA, India Plastic Manufacturer’s Association (India), SMA, Singapore Manufacture’s Federation (Singapore), and The Taiwan Plastics Industry Association (Taiwan) will also bring in their members to participate in the event.

With signs of the economic recovery, Vietnam's industrial output reaching 18.8 Billion USD, an increase of 6.2%, during the first half of year of 2009. International investors and industry companies are all optimistic about the current business aspects of Vietnam; moreover, holds a high expectation for future Vietnam industrial development. With the excellent foundation built up from previous years, VietnamPlas2008 attracted more than 12,875 professional visitors; more than hundred machineries were sold.
